Chocolate Chocolate Chip Smoothie Bowl

Makes 1 serving

You will need…

  • 1 serving chocolate protein powder (20g protein)
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice (or ice)
  • 1 Tbsp. cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp. flax seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. nut butter
  • optional:1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (see notes* )
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar free chocolate chips or cacao nibs

Directions:

Place all ingredients in the blender (besides chocolate chips) starting with the liquid first. Blend on high speed for at least 1 minute.

Pour into a bowl and top with your chocolate chips or cacao nibs.

Note:

Liquid amount may vary depending on type of protein powder or blender. Start with a little and add more as needed. You only want enough liquid so that it blends.

Using collagen protein powder may not work. For smoothie bowl I recommend bone broth, pea, whey or beef protein powders.
