Low Carb Hot Chocolate

You will need…

  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. cacao powder
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • cinnamon to taste
  • sugar free sweetener to taste (eg. monk fruit, stevia, Swerve)

Directions:

Fill up regular sized mug with almond milk. Pour almond milk into a small pot. Place remainder of ingredients in the pot and place on medium heat.

Whisk ingredients together for a few minutes. Once the edges of the liquid in the pot start to boil, remove from heat and pour into cup. This should only take a few minutes. It should not come to a full boil.

Top with whipped cream if desired and enjoy!
