You will need…
- 1.5 cups hazelnuts
- 2 Tbsp. cacao powder
- 2-3 Tbsp. monk fruit
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- dash of sea salt
- optional: 1 Tbsp. avocado oil
Directions:
Place hazelnuts in the oven at 400 F for 15 minutes. Remove hazelnuts from oven and place warm hazelnuts in a warm towel. Rub the skin off the hazelnuts with the towel (it’s ok if not all the skin is removed). Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add in the cacao powder, monk fruit, vanilla extract, sea salt and blend again until it creates a Nutella like consistency. You can add in 1 Tbsp. avocado oil while you are blending if you prefer a smoother consistency but this step is not necessary.
