Jalapeño Poppers

You will need…

  • 4 jalapeño peppers
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (regular or dairy free)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (regular or dairy free)
  • Optional: 1-2 slices bacon shopped and one chopped scallion
  • seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Slice the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

In a bowl mix together cream cheese, the optional bacon and scallions, seasonings and 1/2 the shredded cheddar cheese. Fill the jalapeños with the cheese mixture.

Top the jalapeños with the remaining shredded cheese and place in the air fryer at 400F for about 7 minutes or until cheese melts. If you don’t have an air fryer you can also use an oven or toaster oven.
