Makes 3 servings with carb (skip potato for no carb version)
You will need…
Turkey sausage ingredients:
- 90% lean or higher turkey ground meat
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. dried sage
- Dash of salt
- Shake of pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- Oil spray
Other ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- Fresh or frozen spinach (as much as you want!)
- 1/2 cup potatoes or 1 low carb wrap (I like siete Cassava flour wrap)
Directions:
Directions: Add meat to a bowl with spice and mix together with your hands until evenly combined. Roll meat into ball and flatten out with your hands to form a thin patty. Spray pan with a little oil and put on medium heat. Cook patties for a few minutes on each side until they’re browned and fully cooked.
In a separate small pan, add oil spray and place on medium heat. Once pan is hot add in your onions and cook for a few minutes until translucent. Then add in your potatoes. You can microwave them first for a few minutes to softened for a quicker cook. Once cooked to your liking add in your spinach and cook until warm. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste.
Note: 1/3 of the meat is one serving. That will give you around 30 g of protein! The amount of patties will depend on how big you make them. I like to make about 12 to 15 so that either 4 or 5 is a serving.
